SAFE FOR CHEWERS - NATURAL HEMP, NO PLASTIC | Made from 100% natural hemp fiber instead of plastic-backed cage liners, pee pads, coated paper liners, and cloth liners that curious pets love to gnaw and shred. Safe if nibbled, with no synthetic layer. A worry-free cage liner base for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, other small animals
SUPER ABSORBENT ODOR CONTROL | Natural hemp pulls moisture down into the fiber instead of letting it pool on top like plastic pads or soak through like cloth and fleece liners. It keeps the habitat drier and cuts odor between cleanings, so the cage smells fresher for longer
NO LAUNDRY, NO HASSLE - ROLL, REPLACE, COMPOST | Skip the washer, the dryer shrinkage, and the smell that lingers in reusable cloth and fleece liners. When the hemp liner is soiled, roll it up and compost it. This hemp cage liner is biodegradable and breaks down naturally, unlike coated paper liners that rip and make a mess
LOW DUST AND COMFORTABLE - GENTLE ON LITTLE LUNGS AND EYES | A naturally low-dust alternative to paper liners that can leave dust in cages and in pets' eyes. Use the mat alone or under loose bedding to create a soft, insulating foundation for your pet's habitat
PLACE THEN TRIM TO FIT ANY HABITAT | Place pre-cut 20” x 20” pre-cut hemp mats wherever coverage is needed for rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, reptiles such as snakes or bearded dragons, and other small pets. The easy to trim pieces provide about 16.7 sq ft of material at 5 mm (0.2 in) thick, and is easily customized for cages, hutches, litter boxes, nesting boxes, and free-roam areas
NATURAL AND RESPONSIBLY SOURCED | Made with plant-based low-dust hemp fibers that are biodegradable and compostable after use. A convenient natural alternative to synthetic cage liners, plastic pads, and coated paper liners

I would rate this purchase 5 star except in just over two months of use one of the hooks broke on the handle. Thankfully it can be replaced BUT if this is a known issue I really think extra parts should have been included with the kit.

has stop the food waste from the flock

These are AMAZING!! I love that i can set them up outside and the lids prevent roosting

Great product and amazing at limiting waste!

Bought this feeder via Amazon, we have hundreds of chickens and several different types of feeders around the farm, as our flock free range. We feed pellets and have a mixed flock with various sizes and combs

So going to give you the deets on how this one compares to our others.

First type we have is 44lb galvanized cone feeder with rain hat and feed saver. Can be brought into feed shed to fill. Legs have come off as they were wing bolt on type without locking nut.
Younger birds, roosters and bantams like this one. Despite feed saver there is waste. Wild birds also snack daily.

DIY Bucket feeder only holds so much feed, have to fill up over and over again. Needs raised up off ground.

Omlet feeder 25lb no waste feeder, it’s ignored. Have had it the same amount of time as the Rent a Coop one and hardly have had to fill it. Can be brought into feed shed to fill. Chicken comb and feathers need to be taken into consideration. Especially roosters
No waste but not used much.

Rent a Coop Feeder, used by both chickens and ducks. This is the preferred dining for most of our grown hens. Everything from Polish to Orpington eat out of this one. Like the Omlet chicken combs and breed size need to be taken into consideration. The legs unlike the Omlet are adjustable. Because of size needs filled outside, as 65lb of feed is heavy to lug around in this feeder. No waste at all.
Did come with a minor dent in shipping which was no big deal to me.

We plan to buy a few more of Rent a Coop feeders because we’ve had no problem with moisture, waste or other animal snacking. We can’t go exclusive with this one because of bantams, a few flighty breeds and large comb breeds. Overall this is my favorite feeder.
