PEACE OF MIND WHILE THEY BURROW | Unlike loose cotton and fluffy fill, short natural hemp fibers pull apart instead of forming the long, strong strands that can wrap around tiny toes, feet, and limbs, or knot together if swallowed. Give your little one a soft, plant-based nest to build instead of synthetic or cotton fill
BUILD THEIR OWN COZY NEST | Loose hemp fibers are easy for small pets to pull apart, carry, arrange, and shape into a comfortable nest, giving them the freedom to create a cozy spot that feels like their own - the enrichment nest-builders instinctively crave
ENCOURAGES NATURAL NESTING AND BURROWING | Add a material that sparks the instinctive nest-building, burrowing, and tunneling that keep hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats active, curious, and content. Tuck a handful on top of their deep bedding and let them do the rest
SOFT WARMTH FOR ANY HABITAT | Line resting spots in cages, hutches, hideouts, tanks, and wire or plastic enclosures. Insulating hemp fibers provide a soft, warm and inviting place to sleep, rest, and hide
NATURAL PLANT-BASED NESTING MATERIAL | Made from natural hemp with no dyes or added scents, a plant-based alternative to synthetic and cotton fill. Add it alongside your pet's regular bedding for extra nesting, warmth, and comfort. Loved by hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats. Arrives in a recyclable box packed full with 50 g of hemp

I would rate this purchase 5 star except in just over two months of use one of the hooks broke on the handle. Thankfully it can be replaced BUT if this is a known issue I really think extra parts should have been included with the kit.

has stop the food waste from the flock

These are AMAZING!! I love that i can set them up outside and the lids prevent roosting

Great product and amazing at limiting waste!

Bought this feeder via Amazon, we have hundreds of chickens and several different types of feeders around the farm, as our flock free range. We feed pellets and have a mixed flock with various sizes and combs

So going to give you the deets on how this one compares to our others.

First type we have is 44lb galvanized cone feeder with rain hat and feed saver. Can be brought into feed shed to fill. Legs have come off as they were wing bolt on type without locking nut.
Younger birds, roosters and bantams like this one. Despite feed saver there is waste. Wild birds also snack daily.

DIY Bucket feeder only holds so much feed, have to fill up over and over again. Needs raised up off ground.

Omlet feeder 25lb no waste feeder, it’s ignored. Have had it the same amount of time as the Rent a Coop one and hardly have had to fill it. Can be brought into feed shed to fill. Chicken comb and feathers need to be taken into consideration. Especially roosters
No waste but not used much.

Rent a Coop Feeder, used by both chickens and ducks. This is the preferred dining for most of our grown hens. Everything from Polish to Orpington eat out of this one. Like the Omlet chicken combs and breed size need to be taken into consideration. The legs unlike the Omlet are adjustable. Because of size needs filled outside, as 65lb of feed is heavy to lug around in this feeder. No waste at all.
Did come with a minor dent in shipping which was no big deal to me.

We plan to buy a few more of Rent a Coop feeders because we’ve had no problem with moisture, waste or other animal snacking. We can’t go exclusive with this one because of bantams, a few flighty breeds and large comb breeds. Overall this is my favorite feeder.
