I rarely make reviews, but this product shocked me in a good way. I live in Pennsylvania and temps have hit -15F without windchill. I am so happy I found this. My chickens water never froze. It wasn’t slushy or anything. The only thing that did freeze was the water in the little cups but there is nothing you can do about that. Not the products fault at all. If you have animals and want a way for the water to not freeze this is it!!! Absolutely worth the money. I bought the waterer and the belt. It’s a little more expensive than other waterers but I’ve had 3 different types and this is the BEST one.

Worked until it didn’t. I bought it November 11,2025 and sadly yesterday November 26, 2025 I went to unplug it from the outlet and change locations and the wire came right on out.11/28/25 the company reached out to me and is sending a replacement. Very good communication

Fits bucket well. Heats the water if winter is mild but don’t expect it to keep up in single digit temperatures.

Plug wires inside plug end were not tight but otherwise worked well. Had to take plug end apart and tighten everything. Careful not to use cord to pull plug out of the socket or wires will pull out of the plug and you will have to reinstall them.

Mine did not work. It is possible that my winters are just too cold in New Jersey Jersey. But I’m leaving a good review because their customer service is fantastic. So I do recommend giving them a try.!!!

This heated belt works perfectly for keeping fresh water all winter long. It holds 5 gallons of water, doesn’t leak, and is extremely easy to clean and refill.

We bought this for our New England winter. Even during the frigid blizzard we had (33" of snow and bitter cold) our chicken's water was kept nice and warm for them. I highly recommend this product if you live in the north and have cold weather.

Worked very well for our MN winters! Never had an issue with water freezing even when well below zero. Highly recommend! Used this on my 5 gallon bucket with nipples..

Works well! Our chickens water never froze all winter long despite record low temperatures. The belt is easy to use and durability, simply wrap it around your waterer and plug it in.

These work very well we bought a second one. The temps dropped and froze our chicken's water. we put it on and it helped keep the water from freezing. We removed it as the weather got warmer because chickens don't like to drink warm water.

This heater is great! My chicken’s water has yet to freeze at -15F.I do highly suggest sticking the adhesive heater strip as close as possible to the nipples/spouts…I’ve had to thaw them with hot water a few times, but I think that’s on me for placement.

This has been a dream for our colder days. Keeps our chickens water warm in freezing temps. With that said we can’t leave it on otherwise the water gets too hot.. so we have to take it off if it gets warm out. We had mold growing in our waterer within a couple days because the heat of this thing. Does its job, just can’t leave it on in warmer days.

Works good, must use nipple cups instead of bowl cups for this though to work, as the bowels just freeze if not. Other than that decent quality and seems to be working well so far

I imagine this belt works and by that I mean comes on and heats up. However, it does not fit just any 5 gallon bucket. If your bucket angles and does not go absolutely straight down from top to bottom this will not work on your bucket. It is a straight strip, therefore when wrapped around a non-straight bucket, there are quite large voids where it buckles outward and does not touch the bucket in these areas.Our bucket is a typical feedstore bucket. Like from Lowe's or Home Depot. It angles in slightly from top to bottom. So, get yourself a straight bucket or pass on this belt.

So far so good! I've only been using it a couple weeks, but it seems to be working great and keeping my chickens water warm. Easy to install, just wish the price wasn't so high. I need at least one more large and a small size, not in the budget at the moment.

This is a great heater. Uses little electricity and does the job. It is a bit of a struggle to get the right positioning but worth it.

Only one of my hens will drink out of a nipple waterer, so I took off the springs and connected it with a twist tie to a "Top Fill Waterer, teal, 1.5 gal capacity" from a competitor. It is on legs and is similar to the classic red and white plastic filler but with legs (I do not love this filler but it is an extra I had). I also did not remove the sticky tape backing, so I can easily separate the heater from the waterer to clean and refill it. It has worked for me down to about 20 degrees. It has not been colder than that so I am not sure if it would work with the modifications I made in colder weather. We are only colder than that for a few minutes a few times a year, so it works perfect for my needs. I like that it can be stored in a small box when not in use. I have only used it for about 3 weeks, so I do not know the longevity of this product, but I have bought other things from this brand and been happy. Also, their customer service answered my question within hours.
