I had really high hopes for these.They seemed to leak from day one, to the point that I had to install a gutter with a drain because they were leaking out so much water… 5 gallons every two days to be exact.And today one was completely snapped in half.
These waterers are going to work great for rabbits that like to bite/chew on water dispensers. The plungers work well with light pressure to dispense water easily. Brass isn't a very hard metal, so it shouldn't hurt their teeth should they bite them.
I don't know that these could be used for chickens that peck. I feel they could hurt their beaks or eyes too easily with metal waterers. RentaCoop makes plastic ones specifically for chickens.
These are machined and assembled well and likely last for years. See pics for additional measurements.

I've tried so many other plastic garbage waterers The quality of these far exceeds anything else. They do not leak which is exactly what I was looking for. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

I bought these to replace a different type of spout on my Rent A Coop bottles—think of it as a nozzle upgrade, like giving your water bottles a spa day. And let me tell you, I am obsessed.

Best of all, they screwed right onto the bottles I already had, like they were made for each other—a true hydration love story. 10/10, would twist again.

These were fabulous because I have chewers. They tried once, and that was it. These will last me forever. The only problem now is winter time and freezing. They are heavy duty and are an excellent price, and I will never have to buy more. I have five stars here; no complaints.

This brass nozzle kit is really good. It is well-packaged and easy to set up. If you have any pre-existing kit, just screw the nozzle in, and it's done. The nozzle works great, and my pets easily learned to drink from it, after a few attempts. No more puddles, no more wet spots, no more headache. A+++

I got these Rent A Coop brass fittings for my future rabbits. I have read how much rabbits chew so they can’t use the plastic waterers. I have a few other products by rent a coop and all have exceeded my expectations. The price is higher, but so is the quality.
The RentACoop DIY Waterer Kit - Six Pack Horizontal Brass Nozzles is not really a kit but, rather, just the nozzles (with a seal included). These nozzles by RentACoop always seem to be a great quality and are worth the price vs much cheaper watering nipples.
The all brass construction makes them perfect for chewing animals like rabbits who will eventually gnaw down plastic constructed nipples. Also important for me in a colder northern climate is the ability to use these with a heated waterer. The brass is conductive enough to keep the nozzle thawed in freezing weather when paired with heated waterers. Another positive feature of these is that the little pin that releases the water is not difficult to press. This makes drinking from the nozzle easier to learn and also helps make sure that the animal is drinking enough without having to make a huge effort.
