RAC Paws by RentACoop 32oz(1L) Small Animal Drinker with No-Drip Brass Nozzle

Spigot would NOT screw in, even with a wrench as the instructions recommended. I had to use a hammer to get it in enough to get started screwing it down. 15mins later it's been installed and sitting for a time, and now it's leaking. Not worth the purchase. My pet store bottle did a better job.

I love RAC products. I use them for my chickens, and now my chinchilla. My only complaint for this is that I wish they would sell this with the wire bracket. The spring just doesn't have the capacity to keep the waterer elevated when it's full. As soon as I tried to hang this on my cage it slipped down, until the nozzle was resting on the tray of my cage. I immediately went and ordered the bracket and was able to get it the next day. I just put it in the bracket backwards and it works great! We did have to attach the hanger to a piece of wood so that I could position it where I wanted it on my cage. The bracket allows the lid to work better too. Definitely a great purchase, just go ahead and order a bracket when you do.

The bottles are perfect. All 25 of my rabbits are using them. They do not drip at all, unlike my older bottles that had to be replaced with these new ones.

4.5/5. We have 8 of these for our many guinea pigs. None of them leak. We’ve been very happy with them. The only complaints I have are that the plastic is opaque, so that the water level cannot be seen externally. Additionally, the lid is not flush with the side facing the cage, which 1) makes it hard to open when the container is held tightly against the cage from the spring clip and 2) results in the bottle resting at a slight angle, so that water that drips while they are drinking runs away from the tip of the nozzle and towards the base of the nozzle. As a result, some water drips outside of the cage. This only happens if they drink without closing their mouths (not from leaking). Our cage is inside our home, and therefore the water drips on the floor. We had to mount them inside the cages to avoid this, which makes them harder to fill. However, the cages are dryer than ever, so all-in-all, we are very happy.

I have had the worst time finding a water bottle for my chinchilla that doesn't leak everywhere. This one is by far the one. Not a single leak, and the flip top lid is an added bonus. I recommend this to anyone with small animals that is fed up with leaky bottles!

This is great for guinea pig , the spout does not leak like other types. Easy to attach and clean very sturdy construction, good price.

Love this product! Easy to assemble just requires a wrench! So far there has been no leakage other than me not realizing to put the box onto the cage then adding water 🙃 😅 the size to this thing is great! Barley have to refill water since the dish is deep! Kind of a pain to put the top back on but it's easier when you just clip off the top and add water. Trust me on this but when I added water to this and adding then adding it to cage I made so much spillage from the top having slits that water can easily go through but that was my mistake and now I know to not add water before adding it to the cage. But my guineas love this and way better than any water bottle that I have gotten! Love the looks and the fact the spout is made strong is amazing. So far it's been working like a charm!

Soo I had this for about a few days now and it's leaking like crazy especially from the spout itself. My guineas will drink some water but I notice a ton of water just leaking out from where they're drinking. Like it's just leaking all over the bedding and them when they drink out of it.

Also the area where you screw in the spout has now been stripped and I can't even screw in my spout at all anymore. I had to apply tape to get some type of grip on the bottle and spout itself. I'm not sure if It's just faulty bottle that I recieved but this was good when I first got it but it only lasted a few days before the leak was really bad.

This was the last straw. I filled up the whole thing. Thought the leak was fixed but it wasn't. I had to add tape to the spout and it was still leaking. I even pushed down on the spout so hard that it wouldn't move then the spout itself would just spill out a ton of water. Like it'll just squirt out or the water will flow to the spout without anyone touching it making it leak all over the bedding.

I switched over to a different water bottle and the one I purchased was a heavy duty lux bottle I believe and it's working way better than any bottle I've ever purchased. It didn't come as advertised but still works with no drip. It'll drip out just when you flip it over but it'll not continue to drip especially when the cap is on as tight as you can tighten it. I haven't seen any leaks even when on the cage. Might get the lox or lux bottles from now on instead of this one which I thought would be good but also mind you the plastic where you screw it in strips so easily and the spout will be easily be removable and the o ring on this doesn't seem to hold up long as it breaks the first few times I washed this this.

This is great, my rabbit can't chew it up and it doesn't leak a drop. Great product!

I was so highly satisfied with this item in the beginning. My daughters both bought one each for their rabbits. They weren’t cheap, but they worked hard to earn their money to buy them since they are raising them to show in the fair. One works great while one started leaking from the spout. We’ve only had them in use since for 2 months, got them at very end of June and started using in July, tomorrow is September 1. I wish the company could do something to correct this. This is otherwise a great product as one still works but the other is pretty much useless.

Great water bottle. It’s easy for the rabbits to get water from it. The 2 quart capacity is great. It leaked at first but I tightened the spout good with pliers and now it doesn’t leak at all. I liked it so much I bought 6 more. Highly recommend.

We have used several other name brand Water Bottles for our Rabbitry. The RENT-A-Coop bottles are better quality, lids remain attached after more usage, and they stay algae-free better,

This thing leaked all over the place. I added rubber washers and used plumber's tape and it works great now. But seriously, it should have come with that to begin with...
I like the size, I use it for my guinea pigs who drink a lot of water. The lid doesn't like to stay in place, but it doesn't really matter, the lid just sits on top. The big flat top also makes a nice ledge for a small fan for the piggies. The pigs have no problem drinking out of it, but they still prefer the rollerball type if they have a choice.

I live in the desert and don't want the water to evaporate or attract scorpions, so I got RentACoop's 2L drinker and paired it with their yellow chick nozzle (2nd one in the video, black and yellow elbow). Aside from the auto-fill cup, my cat gets the most water from the yellow chick nozzle as the nipple is easier to move. RentACoop's customer service is top notch and I'm so glad I bought a drinker from them. Have used it ~3mo and no issues with leaking.

The brass nozzle seems ok in theory but the design is flawed. The plastic body has a smaller hole than the brass threads that is smooth bore. You “tap” the plastic body of the container with the brass threads when you screw it into the plastic so it doesn’t make a decent seal with the metal to plastic. There is only a small buna O ring to provide the seal between the metal/plastic. Problem is if the unit is dripping or leaking you cannot tighten it down further because that just deforms the O ring and causes a bigger issue. Of course I am too late to return anything so I’m stuck.

I'm not sure how these have 4 star rating. They will not stay clipped on the outside of the cage with the flimsy spring provided. Which is why they sell Separately a haning bracket. The pictures only show the spring version on 1 picture. The nipple oring is SUPER finicky and will end up leaking unless you twist just right which may not be up... which means then the nipple itself leaks. The tops do not come off but rather only have a small flap in the top which means these will be a nightmare to clean. My husband unboxed and put in cages before I got home and now I'll be forced to make modifications on FIVE of these. Also, only now does Amazon show me that there is a six pack option which was cheaper than what I paid for 5 of them. Poor way to showcase a product. Poor value. Poor quality. Do not recommend.

Not sure about this for my guinea pig.
This might be a guinea pig problem as I've not seen it actively leaking but the litter box is quite soaked after a week.
Installation was a breeze and the shop clearly knows it's being used for guinea pigs because it advises a different set up for them VS chickens.
It does hold a lot of water though which is nice. I'm filling it up every 2-3 days for 1 guinea pig.
I will say, the part for setting it up for chickens was not provided so be aware if you're trying to purchase this for chickens.

These are great for the bunnies I have outside. I don't have to fill it everyday like I did w other waterers. It does make a little bit of a mess but that might be because it's being used for bunnies.

I have 6 guinea pigs at the moment. 3 separate guinea pig cages. Each cage has 1 water bottle. I have tried over 6 different brands/sizes of water bottles. Every one has leaked..EVERY bottle.
The Rent-A-Coop is truly the first water bottle that does not leak! I bought one and tried it out and ended up buying 2 more. No more removing the bottles to fill them. I just flip the lid and pour water into each one as needed. If you have a rabbit or guinea pig this bottle is worth EVERY penny!!

I have bought so many bottles off the Amazon and it's sitting on my floor because 2 months after I have him I give him a chance and they leak and they leak and they leak and they leak and I gotta put plastic tubs underneath them to catch the water because it destroys my cage well. I finally found a bottle that doesn't leave. It's a chicken water feeder who would ever thunk. I'm so happy no more water in the cage, my piggy's love it, Guinea pigs, can you believe it? They liked to drink off the chicken feeder?

These are the best water bottles that I have found. I have both nozzle types. I found that my guinea pigs don't catch all of the water that comes out of the L-shaped (elbow), nipple style one so it makes it appear as if it is leaking but it isn't. I prefer the one that has the straight nozzle.
Overall, they are easy to fill, easy to clean and don't leak. I have 7 of the 32oz waterers and have been very happy.
However, I recently purchased 3 more of the straight nozzle ones and one of those is slightly leaking out of the tip. Maybe something shifted in the inner spring area?
Hoping to find a link to just buy the mouth pieces, or find a way to contact seller for replacement nozzle.
