This gravity feeder is excellent and very heavy duty. The magnetic lid is super strong! This will not work with my particular cage bars as mine are real thick vertical metal bars but I am going to use zip ties to attach it. I am using this for my puppy whelping pens but it is perfect for puppies too. My Frenchie puppies won’t be able to get their fat faces in it but my Papillon puppies use it just fine. So easily to sterilize in between litters as well.
Everything gets wet when it rains. Don’t recommend

Ordered 2, and these are great for rabbit food, however if feeding alpha pellets they don't work. Also, one came without the top, but I'm buying more😄

I really love this feeder! It is very well made and the lid is magnetic, so it doesn't come off easily. (I prefer lids that come off versus flip up). It holds a ton of food, so it keeps me from having to refill quite as often. The only downside is I wish it fed itself a little easier. It does what it is supposed to do, but it doesn't allow a lot of food in the trough, so the rabbits really have to get their heads in to eat. (However, this does keep the food from being wasted as much, so I see the reason for it) Would very much recommend to anyone!

I had bought this feeder for my rabbit because his old one broke. I hoped that this one would hold up better and it did, the quality is amazing! But on the other hand every time it rains all the food gets soaked and prevents any other food from dropping down.

These are awesome! I tested them on some problem rabbits and after the initial break-in period, they stopped trying to dig out their food. One doe tried really hard and she was able to dig some food out but it was a significant effort and she gave it up after about 4 days. Yay!......BUT, if you have large breed rabbits like New Zealands or Silver foxes they may not be able to use these feeders as adults. My adult New Zealands head cannot fit through the opening to get at the feed.
So now I need to find something just like this but with about half an inch bigger opening for my larger rabbits.

This feeder is sturdy and well made. I am using it indoors for a rabbit but I can see it being a nice addition to an outdoor hutch as well. It’s very easy to fill and the opening is wide enough to scoop or pour in food. There are no sharp edges to hurt bunny and they have enjoyed eating from it.
They are terrible for cereal for small children. Works great for rabbits until the rabbit escapes. Then, it holds air really well.

This feeder is smaller than I thought, but very well made. The lid is magnetic and it closes very well. I'm actually using this feeder outside for my little chickens and it works pretty well for me. I just wish it was bigger. It does well in the rain, the chicken food doesn't get wet.

I am really impressed with this feeder. It is well made and has very nice features; it was obviously designed by someone who owned things that chew or are curious. The lid is strongly held in place by magnets so if you place it inside the enclosure, no one can open it from the top. The lid also overlaps the edges so will be weatherproof as well. It's metal - so it is chew proof. It is galvanized (magnet closure top), so it's not rust proof, but galvanizing often lasts a long time and the metal thickness is sturdy so this should last a 'life time' with minimal care. The bottom of the feed bin is perforated which allows food dust to not build up (& also accumulate moisture). The only downside I can see is that it is a bit more on the expensive side compared to other feeders, but you do get what you pay for - this is a very nice, well built feeder.
I own two mounted 50lb feed trough boxes from this same company for my chickens and I absolutely love them. They’ve been up two years and I’ve had no issues. They’ve not rusted or leaked. This says a lot because I live in the Deep South, where the humidity is heavier than your winter comforter, and hurricanes. It has made my life so much better to be able to fill the boxes with 100 lbs of food at one time and not worry if I need to go of town, or have to haul huge bags every few days when my husband is on business trips. I’m a 50+ grandma for goodness sake. It wasn’t easy. We have two bunnies as well and I’ve still been going old school with them. We tried the pvc pipe feeder but no matter what we did the food turned to mush when it rained. Also those two will barely eat one day and be ravenous the next so being able to have 5 lbs of food available to them is a relief, for them & me. My husband got it up and it’s working great. I’d have posted a picture but it’s been super storming every day since. I’ll try to remember to come back and put one up. Also, with all this rain we can see if this little box is as tough as big brother. You’re definitely not wasting your money when you buy these metal feed troughs for your coops and runs.
