This brooder is perfect well made easy to clean we start 15 meat birds for their first 4 weeks and had zero issues with this product

Perfect brooder kit. It’s so cute! Came with stickers, my daughter loved that for decorating. Sliding doors made for easy access to chicks and water/food. Easy to hang things from (heater, toys, etc). Love that it comes with everything you need to get started.

Im in love! This thing is huge, easy to put together, doesn't smell like strong plastic. Is well packaged, easy to put away, easy to clean... I cannot recommend this enough!!! As a small farm that does alot of 4-h with my kids i would even buy a second!

Love the size, ease of assembly, accessories, and ability to interact with my chicks in this brooder.
Disappointed in the jute liner especially. I switched my chicks to it yesterday and by this morning all their feet and toes were tangles in the fibers. I spent quite a while unwrapping long fibers from their feet.
Also, the adhesive tape holding the sliding clear panel doors lost its adhesive the first day. Having to use plastic clips now.
And lastly, my chicks can not seem to figure out the feeders, and I can’t seem to figure out the wateres ha.

Absolutely love this, It comes with everything you need besides the chicks and the water and feed.

Pros: Size is amazing and held 20 chickens with no problem up until they were 12 weeks old. Easy to clean because it’s corrugated plastic, had plenty of ventilation, and I loved the food and water containers it came with. The Lee pads it came with were nice and easy to change when they were young but soon scratched them up and are too pricey for me to rebuy. I also love that it’s easy to fold up for storage. Loved that it has a light to help see the chicks better.

Cons: The door was always an issue. We went to pine shavings so they’d get in the track at time and made it hard to shirt without cleaning them out. The track is also stuck on with double sided tape which eventually became loose and shaving stuck to it and just made it look kinda dirty. The lid was a little cumbersome to handle at times when cleaning, just had to end up taking it all the way off and some of the Velcro seemed like it was coming off as well.

We recently began incubating chicks from our barnyard chickens. So far, Gus has been prolific and we have been graced with some new chicks and more incubating eggs on the way. So, we decided to get this RentACoop chicken brooder. We got the big kit...
Ok, lets face it, this is a bit expensive. I mean, you could just cut the top off of a cardboard box and voila, you have a chicken housing situation. And, I have done just that many times. But the dust....the dust... I was a bit skeptical about this chicken house, to be honest. Even when I began taking it out of the box, I was wondering what I had gotten myself into.
It is made of that corrugated plastic panel material, which is completely waterproof, unlike a cardboard box. That is a bonus. Then I began taking so much stuff out of the box, I began to wonder if it was much bigger on the inside than on the outside if you know what I mean. I mean, there is a chicken warmer that comes with it's own little red roof to keep the little chicks from jumping on top and pooping all over it. There are 2 waterers with your choice of peck water, or cup water dispenser. There are 2 feeders, not just one. A little chicken swing for them to play on. I think this kit is one of the most complete and functional kits I've seen on the internet. They put a ton of thought in this thing. It is a bit hefty, once assembled, so we put it on a small folding table to get it up to about the right level for us. It is a perfect fit for 12 - 18 chicks, in my opinion. The quality is best in class, and the accessories included are a step above. Nice job. Our new chicks are being spoiled as we speak...

I bought this because I was getting more than 10 chicks. The description says it has a 10+ chick capacity. Yes, it has a disclaimer that chicks vary in size and whatnot, but it still leads one to believe that more than 10 chicks would be fine. When the box was delivered, it says it accommodates up to 10 chicks. To me, this means 10 chicks maximum. I feel this discrepancy between the online listing and the box is misleading.

Overall I love the brooder set. It was so nice to access the chicks at their level instead of coming from overhead and frightening them. I really liked the water access from the outside, which made it more convenient and saved valuable space in the brooder. The liners did not work for me. The 4 day old chicks shredded the liners in minutes. I had to use pine shavings in the bottom and it made cleanup difficult. Would highly recommend the setup to anyone with chicks.

Ok, I wanted to wait till we actually put this thing thru the ringer before I reviewed. Honestly, it seemed a little too good to be true. We’ve now raised and launched 2 separate broods with this thing and it is absolutely awesome! Easy to use. Easy to clean. Easy to store, easy to replenish/refill, easy to order replacement material, everything!

My wife and I even let the kids put it together because it was that easy (side note: we did read the directions for them).

I almost didn’t buy it at first because folks complained about the quality of material. I do understand their concerns and don’t want to rationalize them, but my humble opinion is that they have or have unrealistic expectations. With that being said, we had some initial concerns and obvious “Storage Memory” from the materials but absolutely worth the investment for our always on the go family and schedule.

Brooder itself it great, however the light that came with it was broken and the feeders and waterers are difficult to install

Horrific experience. Had a very sick poult Sunday night, no emergency vets would take him. We checked food and water levels, no problem. He was extremely lethargic and shivering, passed over night. Monday morning the other two are looking ill. Check food and water and realize water was at same level as yesterday. The nozzle was completely broken. Not blocked, had been working fine up until those last few days. So switch out that water completely with a new water appliance outfitted with the refill cup. Watch them and its fine over night. Next morning its fine. I just came back (tuesday PM) from work and my animals are shivering as the whole thing has slow leaked out and, once again, they are without water. Good idea, horrifically executed product leading to death. The structure itself is flimsy. The best part of the whole kit is the warming appliance. Skip getting the set up and only get the heat source if you are looking to buy from here. This was devastating, there are much cheaper, more reliable products to use.

I'm a first time chick owner and this coop had everything I needed! It works very well, we have 8 chicks growing quickly. Not sure yet when we will need to transition but they are about 3-4 weeks old now and all still fit well. I really like the heater and one is enough for all the chicks. Heater is not adjustable, it stays on, can be tilted so different sized chicks can sit/fit under it and keep comfortable. We have it inside our house until we want to move the chicks to their outdoor coop. We have found the chicks will not eat from the feeders provided so we used a bowl then bought a chick feeder with holes, not sure why as it's a very common design. They cup drinker works well and chicks figured it out immediately.

Love it !!!! Using it for my hatching projects chicks have plenty of room and ventilation so so easy to clean and folds up for easy storage.

The absolute best Chick Brooder, as a first time chick mom having everything come in this kit to get me started was a game changer. Perfect ventilation for the chicks and just the right amount of room for the babies. Assembly was a breeze only took a few minutes. Definitely worth the money. Pricing everything individually was way over the price you would spend buying this kit. Best part of this brooder is when you are done with it you can fold it up and put it right back in the box.

Very low quality for the price I am so disappointed, the feeder container keeps falling off, the heat lamp doesn’t even warm and the box is basically glorified cardboard I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m so upset with this purchase, honestly not worth it at all
