Great handle! … but doesn’t like cold, snap upper hook last winter, and just snap the other one today! Bought in January 2024.

Rent A Coop does not disappoint. I’ve utilized several of their products now and each has been high quality. This falls right in line. The handles are made of thick, heavy duty plastic. This is sure to hold up in the elements. Instructions were well written and clear. Overall, good investment. 5/5

I installed this on a Premier 1 brand electric netting with double spike poles. The handles fit the diameter of the pole well and the base accepted the bottoms without issue. This is fairly easy to install. I wish there were two more guide lines but it's not really necessary for the gate to work. The handle is a bit heavy compared to the weight of the pole, so it wobbles a bit when you remove it from the base and stick it in the ground elsewhere to enter. While I can remove the handle side with one hand, its not very easy. I'll be holding the other side still to unhook the handle due to this.

Absolutely solid plastic construction, Easy to install, and we are thrilled to use this gate everyday.

We have a bought a bunch of RentACoop feeders and we love them, when we saw that RentACoop also has a gate handle kit we had to get it.

Our fence zaps at 12,000 volts and stores 12 Joules (that releases 8 Joules per hit), it is "NOT fun" to get zapped, so we had to find a solution, and this RentACoop handle system is awesome.

I made a mistake: I do want to say that the directions told us to put the gate on a straight-run (not on a corner), but we already setup the fence and I didn't want to adjust it yet. I will move the chickens in spring-timeframe and put the gate in the right orientation, but it works well in the corner for now.
I have to say that this gate has been awesome and is much safer to go into the chicken area to get the eggs.

We’ve had two of these handles and the hooks have broken on both after only a few months of use. Despite the convenience, it’s too expensive to break so easily.

ESOne of the plastic closure hooks already broke off. Too pricey for that to happen so soon. Going to contact co & see about a replacement.EDIT: RentaCoop very helpful & immediately sent me a replacement handle no charge. Awesome company!!!!

You don’t need to buy this add on. The kit already comes with this. It’s just wasting away in my garage because my fiancé didn’t tell me to return this.

Have only had for 5 months and after first snow storm, the hooks on handle have already broke off and now handles are useless! There is no where on Amazon to contact seller and past time to return! You would think for the cost, this product would last a little longer!

Much needed!! We have our chicken fencing around the round. These handles did the job. No more pulling out spikes or jumping over … sturdy and good.

Installed this handle in September, it lasted 4Months and has already snapped, and useless! I tried to order a spare but they are conveniently “sold out”Don’t waste your money!

This gate handle is made of very sturdy material. It works well and can even be used with one hand. We used to climb over our old fences but recently upgraded our electric fences to the 48 inch height and this gate handle was a great addition! Love how easy it is to enter the fence without even turning the energizer off. It was a game changer for us and I give this product 5 stars!

I like that fact that I don’t have to unplug the fence snd use a bungee cord to open and close my fence. Very convenient to use. It was just a little confusing putting it together. But I figured it out.
