RentACoop Highrise Chicken Waterer and Feeder Set - 10lbs/2 Gal

I am new to chickening and at first thought my pullets would not figure out how to eat from this feeder. Haha, wrong! They love it and there is always a chicken head inside the feeder. Water is great too. BPA free is a plus too.

We have six chickens. Since we have switched to these feeders, we are only feeding and watering them once every 5-7 days. With the ergonomic handles it makes it easy to take out and refill. The order came with water bowls and water nipples. we are currently using the nipple style. With the nipple style and the design of the feeder, there is little to no waste even though chickens are messy. We absolutely love this product. Definitely recommend over any other feeder/waterers on the market.

For me the waterer of the pair is what I am most appreciative of. I ended up running one of my drip lines up there into the 2 gallon tank. So when sprinklers come on it will fill it up. I need to take a better look at the feeder. Either they aren’t used to it or it’s tight on the sides for the seed to flow. But I’ll get it get dialed. I actually keep an additional hanging feeder (for now) and 2 other water sources. Very happy with these products

Bought for our backyard chickens. The water cups are very sensitive and if not positioned correctly can leak. Came back after being gone for a long weekend to our chickens without water because of this. Now have a backup waterer just in case. Cups can easily be changed out, so it was a simple fix, just beware it can happen.

This waterer and feeder set is amazing. My hens took to it rather quickly. I had a bit of an issue with the watering cups, so I contacted RentACoop. Their customer service is hands down the best I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this product because if there is an issue, they will do their best to make it right.

So far I only received the heating belt even though I received an email they were delivered together. I sent an email about it and was told they were sent separately. Still waiting over 2 weeks later to receive the feeder and waterer. Will update if they come.

We purchased these to help prevent rats. For the first 5-6 months, we did not have any rat activity, but then I began to notice feed all over the ground and one afternoon, I saw a rat jump straight up into the opening.

Food dispenser has troubling letting more food down as they eat. I have to stick something in there and move it around. Not ideal. They also are more of a yellow color than white.

While I love the idea of this setup (I bought both the waterer and feeder twice), the waterer’s automatic refill cups stopped working after a couple months on BOTH of the waterers I bought at separate times. The only way the cups will refill now is if you lift them upward, which a chicken is incapable of doing, and when you let it go it won’t fill anymore. Very disappointing given the fact that this is a pretty expensive setup. I tried tightening the screws that hold the cups in place and there’s no leak. They are easy to use otherwise. Great size! Easy to install and hang. Keeps clean WAY better than your typical on the ground cheap feeders/waterers. Chickens can’t tip them over. Easy to clean other than it being extremely difficult to pull out the inner cup liner of the automatic water refill cups. The feeder on the other hand is 10/10 would recommend. Hoping the company can fix the waterer issue as this can be very dangerous. They stop working suddenly and you don’t know until you check to see how much water they drank out of the reservoir. Finding the water supply to be untouched after a very hot summer day. Risking dehydration or death of your chickens if you work away from home during the day.

Every chicken owner needs this Brand's products! Their feeders have been a life saver for us. They are very much worth the price tag!!! Repeat customer for sure. I only wish they'd design and sell some small coops or nesting houses that are just as excellent quality and last decades. I'd very much buy them....

The feeder was attracting rats (and wild birds were eating from it) so I had to remove it. Had these for almost a year. I like that they don't take up floor space. They work as advertised. What I don't like is that the waterers cracked during a freeze (but an $8 sealant seems to have worked to fix them), and I think it's a little hard for the chickens to drink out of either of the drinking options. I appreciate the hardware that came to add a mount to the other side, allowing me to have waterers that I can refill from the outside of the coop but that the chickens can drink from the inside. Overall, worth the price, just a bit disappointing. This is a good brand.

Best chicken waterer and feeder I’ve found!!!The feeder truly keeps so much feed from being scattered and thrown all over the ground. Saves a lot on wasted feed. I’ve used both pellets and crumble and either work. I have 10 chickens with two of the single- holed feeders: one inside the coop and one outside. This seems to be sufficient. They tend to stay inside during extreme cold, so they’re all sharing a single feeder without and issues.I have two 2 gal waterer one outside in summer and one inside. I bought a plug-in de-icer for the cold weather (love that the lid design has a hole for the cord to come out!). I was using the cup adapters, thinking the nipple adapters might be too difficult for young chickens to figure out. But, the cups became so dirty so quickly, just from dust and chickens drinking with dirty beaks after foraging around outside in the dirt. I changed over to the nipple adapters (also as recommended for use with de-icer to prevent cups from freezing). Thought it would be a tricky transition for the chickens, but they figured it out and now the water is soooo much cleaner. I push the silver dispensers a tad and wipe down the drip cups when I’m out there and they are as good as new! I love knowing the chickens are getting cleaner water all the time.The peaked lids are a great idea and keep from roosting on top and pooping on everything.The price point was higher than I wanted to spend, but it is worth it. Highly recommend!!!

This combo was the best purchase we made for our flock of chickens. The food stays dry and the water was still work through hurricane Milton. Great product.

Loved my first waterer and feeder. But the second waterer leaks out the bottom. I am frustrated that I had to take it out of coop with the feedee that came as a set and bring to Kohls for a drop off.

The next paragraph is my honest review of both products. However the customer service is a 10/10! I posted this review and they reached out to me and refunded the feeders cost, half of the total purchase, and let me keep the item to dispose of. I may try to modify it to see if the chickens will eat out of it, but as of right now we don't use it.

I'm aware I can't return the products as I modified and drilled into them to put them up in my coop, and the waterer is amazing! The girls took to it right away, perfect size for my 4 hens. However I think the pipe is too long in the pellet feeder? I have filled the front of it every day for a week and every day they eat the food at the front of the feeder but won't stick their head all the way in. They only ate what I put in the entrance and then would be hungry and it drastically slowed egg production. Took the rain cover off so it would be more appealing, and there was no difference. I'm giving up and going back to their old feeder after a little over a week of drastically reduced food intake and zero eggs.

I’ve had this set for about 4 months. No issue with the feeder but the little cup on the waterer has fallen off and been replaced about 4 times. Anytime it falls off all the water spills out so it’s not reliable if I’m gone. Super bummed

Great product and keeps water and food free and from waste.

I’ve been using rent a coop, chicken feeder, and waterer for some years now, but the new design means you can just lift it up and off and then take it in to clean it, which I find wonderful. It’s such a great design where you don’t waste a lot of chicken food and also the water doesn’t go all scuzzy because it’s a closed system. Wonderful, wonderful design!

These are easy to fill, easy for the birds to use. They are adequate for 3 or 4 chickens daily use. I am using them in my broody hens coop.

We have purchased so many feeders and watering things for chickens I lost count. Finally found a winner. Solid and easy install and upkeep.

I love the build of these feeder/water's they are made of thick plastic top fits on securely the feeder was the only thing I questioned at first but my chickens took to it easy enough. The space these feeders take up in my small coop is minimal and hanging on the wall saves you from the mess chickens love to make.

I’ve tried to pull it apart a few times and reread the instructions to make sure that I’m not missing something, but it keeps leaking. Ugh
