These feeder and waterer sets from Rent A Coop are always a great value. I have a few of this size feeder that hold feed, grit and oyster shell. The size of the port is versatile and works well for both adults and chicks. The waterer is a great size, although I do wish that they offered the 2L with a dual port like their 1 gallon waterer.

these items have saved so much time and money! they hook right on to the rent a coop box and no more mess, no more spilled food or poop in the food and water. I love them. I should have purchased them sooner!

They are smaller than expected but they work very well. I am currently raising my first flock and have been having issues will poop/bedding in their food and water. These are a great alternative to standard feeders. Simple for the chicks to understand it, so far it has lasted my 4 chicks a week and I have not had to refill it yet. Very good product and the anti roost lid is a huge benefit !

These work OK for my flock of six chickens. However, I wish I was able to use the larger ones, but they are not made properly. I will say these don’t seem to get a film on the inside and they’re pretty easy to clean. I do clean the water about once a week and I clean the chicken feed one pretty often as well.

I use this for 2 mostly-free range chicks , in their house. Zero waste.

If I could make one change, I'd put two holes for feeding, not one. Otherwise it fit perfectly within the coop, and they're really easy to clean.

They are a chicken feeder and water dispenser. They come basically assembled, so you just put them on your cage.

The feeder has a plastic red circle that is meant to keep the rain out and allow you to fill it all the way up... but the hole is too small for our medium sized chickens to eat from. So we had to take it off... now we can only fill the container half full.

Held up great in my chicken coop but I would recommend going with the larger model because 4 chickens will go through all the food and water multiple times a day

They are great! Only issue is that the watering tips were too stiff for the chicks to figure out. When they got bigger I switched to the cup. I wish the cup could tip over to dump the water in the cup.

I am so happy with these for my brooder. I will say my regular sized chicks figured it out so much easier than my bantams. They are still struggling to figure it out. It has helped the transition to the outside feeder and waterer that are a similar set up.

Love all the parts that come with it so you can try out sigferent water attachments and see hwat works best. I used the cups first so theyd get used to it then swapped for the dmaller ones with knobs so it doesnt get as dirty esp for the brooder. I love that the waterer cups/knob attachments fit any size waterer. And you can mix and match the attachments. I have cups on some and knobs on the others. If using the cups i recommend getting the cup covers from the company store as well to help keep dirt etc out. The cups have an inner cup that you csn remove to dump dirty water which is really cool. It isnt easy to remove cuz it creates a suction but its nice to be able to remove the inner cup and dump pine shavings and dirt etc easily.

Was really floored and excited about all the attachments for the waterer.

The feeder is nice because the hens have to sitck their heads in to eat and much less feed is wasted this way compared to the round open feeder where they knock out the pellets and feed they dont want. Saving me a lot of money on feed.

Easy peasy assembly for the attachments. Def recommend. Ive replaced my old feeders and waterers with various sized ones now for each stage of my chickens.

12/10 recommend idc about ups and their problems if I wasn’t in dire need of one being delivered because of my schedule waiting for this is by far an easy decision so easy to clean refill I retrofit it to my coop and even then easy af to clean move organize fill just badass 🔥🤝🏻

These were easy to install, but these aren't for new chicks. The waterer isn't easily triggered. they can peck on it, but they are not strong enough to make the water come out. I had to continually go in there and push on it to make the water come out. it takes quite a bit of pressure.
The feeder. UGH. you have to fill it up quite a bit and then they aren't tall enough-even at the lowest setting to get the food out. they have to be almost a week-10 days old to reach the feed and then once they can, it just pours out because you have to keep it filled in order for them to get any food. POOR DESIGN.

I have purchased several of these sets and swear by them! They are easy to use and helps keep the chicks water and food clean. I wpuld recommend for anyone with new chicks. I use these in my brooder set ups and they help with no spilt water or food waste. Easy to fill and they clean easily. I have to fill every 2-3 days depending on the brooder box and amount of chicks I have in them.

These feeders and waterers are excellent! I had no idea that the waterers came with 3 different types of “water delivery devices”. They include an auto fill cup, a cup they have to peck at to get water, and a nipple that they peck at. My only complaint with the waterers is that the auto fill cup ends up getting dirty and back flows into the water. Not a huge deal but required more frequent cleaning. The feeders are excellent and great transition as we use a 5 gallon bucket with similar ports for our adult babies.

Worked great for our poultry grow out pen. Easily adjustable for different size chicks. Holds enough food and water to last a few days, just depends on how many birds you have using them. We've had up to 10 birds under 6 weeks old. Little expensive for what they are, which is why I gave a 4 star.

I really want to love this company and their products. If they worked as intended they would be amazing. I previously had a larger waterer that the actual rentacoop bucket cracked and leaked on all sides (no it wasn't overtightened, this happened over time with no adjustments) Anyway, I bought this set for our chick brooder. In theory it's so much cleaner and simple for the chicks. Problems... The chick nipple leaks. From the actual nipple not the connection to the plastic container. So I'll try another option in the box but... The whole point of this set was for day old chicks. Hence chick nipple. The feeder just flat out doesn't work. The hole for the feed is too far back for little chicks to reach without climbing inside and the feed clogs almost immediately. I ended up using another piece that I bought to do a diy oyster bucket that had a larger opening, works great. Rentacoop, do more product testing! I want to keep buying because your products could be amazing but dang, I've been disappointed so far.
