The new hanging design using a big bulky plastic piece is not functional and un-realistic. I've purchases these before with the metal Hagers instead and prefer them much more. It's less bulky, doesn't get in the way and makes more sense in the sturdiness and structure. I wish I could get the old metal hangers instead of this bulky plastic that gets in the way of even shutting the lid. If it was like the design before I'd give 5 start because they are great otherwise with how it keeps the water and food clean and not everywhere.

I love these feeders. Been using since the brooder propped up on wood then. Now hanging on the wire of coop outside. I like them hanging so it frees up the floor space in the run. Only negative is they’re heavy when filled & pull on wire. So I can’t hang them side by side. I also can’t go bigger because of weight. It would’ve been nice to have a few for 10 chickens, but will make do.They’ve been through a few severe thunderstorms and have kept food dry. I haven’t gone into run to close the feeders at nighttime. I guess if I have mice or rat problems I’ll have to close the feeders at nighttime.

These feeder and waterer sets from Rent A Coop are always a great value. I have a few of this size feeder that hold feed, grit and oyster shell. The size of the port is versatile and works well for both adults and chicks. The waterer is a great size, although I do wish that they offered the 2L with a dual port like their 1 gallon waterer.

Perfect for sick coop and grow out coop

I bought these to go into my brooder pen- with the hopes of it being a cleaner option and easier for my chicks. Not the best option for us. The water we leaked - couldn’t get it to stop with any of the attachments.The feeder allowed Only 1 or 2 chicks to be able feed at a time with the bigger ones pushing out the smaller ones. Tried it and missed the time to return it. So looks like I’ll be reselling in a garage sale or giving away.

Is really good way better than regular feeders and drinkers no food waste and no more pine shavings in the water I will say this version is great for your brooder for your chicken coop or run with adults hens get the bigger version.

Perfect for quail but if you hang them from the outside make sure they’re secure because the hole for the feeder has to be a bit larger. My ducks knocked them off the enclosure and all my quail got out most of them died. But anyway it’s a great no waste system perfect for small birds maybe rabbits as well. The tops sit on gently so could be easily opened by a raccoon or something. For refill purposes they’re very easy to use.

These have been just what we needed for our chicks. Used the nipple spout and was happy the chickens took to it very quickly. The drinker and chick feeder keep their space clean with less mess.

It used to be good design but right now everything changed, the plastic of containers are a bit more durable probably but the hangers are just bad, those are falling and water is splitting all over. Very poor design. Those metal hangers were much better! RentACoop try make it better!

I think these will work okay, but it was an absolute CLUSTER putting them together and installing. Bad design compounded by poor/incomplete instructions.

I don't like the design of the feeding ports. I like the idea of it, but it doesn't work like they claim. Is it just me or does anyone else have issues with their chicks and/or chickens not being able to eat out of these things?I ended up using a dremel and cutting disc to enlarge the hole and remove the sliding lock completely. Then I used a sanding wheel to smooth the cut edges. Now they can eat just fine. Still no mess. I had to do that with this version for my 4-5 week old chicks, and the version that holds 10 lbs for my older chickens. Also at issue is pellets did not want to reload after my larger chickens ate what was in the cup. Crumbles worked better for that.I really like RentACoop but this needs a little redesign in my opinion.

I’m actually pretty disappointed with both productsThe water is clogged daily and ducklings are only a week old so I’m constantly taking it out to unclog so the water runsThe food container has to be filled all the way up and the opening is in the middle so food won’t come out if half full but also just piles on out of it is so there’s always a pile on the floor 🤦🏼‍♀️Which is frustratingI’m constantly checking the food and water containers it’s stressful.

Loved these! They are durable, didn’t leak, the red helped the chickens want to know what they were. So easy to fill and clean. Took 2 minutes to assemble. The look of these and how great they work is amazing.

This is my 5th set I have bought because I loved the 4 I have, and this brand had a quality I trusted with my micro chickens and my button quail. This 5th set came in with a redesign that is poor in quality with the lids they don't stay on the track . I loved this brand and I love supporting small brands but the unnecessary redesigns lately is dropping in quality while going up in price. Please go back to your original designs or offer them as an option. I recommended to a few friends and they got the redesigns as well and they have the same issue. Your products were the best before these redesigns please consider going back to previous designs they are worth the money.

I just love this brand, absolutely ingenious approach for chicken owners either hobby or professional. The container is built to last, easy to operate for refills and gives different options on how to hang them with hardware included. I ordered these for my (8) older 4 week chicks to cut down on bedding in their food and their water clean up. My chicks are at an age they want to jump on everything, kick up all their bedding and be chaotic as possible. These dispensers prevent roosting/perching on top, the size is big enough I only refill once a day. You get options on what type of water dispenser tip you want to use, so you can change your mind and try other types without buying more. I recommend if using the nipples just check everyday in case they get jammed or clogged as I have heard chicken owners assume it’s working and lose some of their flock. I am obsessed with their water bowls as they are the only company I have seen that offers “removable liners” to clean them out instead of taking the whole attachment out. PLUS check out their other products, they offer DIY options if you want cheaper and more efficient options to streamline your chickens needs. Absolutely innovative!! My husband is building our coop with a run attached and I am considering buying one of their DIY watering line options with water bowls so my chickens have water bowls running along the side of their run without me frequently refilling small containers. Work smarter not harder y’all!

these items have saved so much time and money! they hook right on to the rent a coop box and no more mess, no more spilled food or poop in the food and water. I love them. I should have purchased them sooner!

They are smaller than expected but they work very well. I am currently raising my first flock and have been having issues will poop/bedding in their food and water. These are a great alternative to standard feeders. Simple for the chicks to understand it, so far it has lasted my 4 chicks a week and I have not had to refill it yet. Very good product and the anti roost lid is a huge benefit !

These work OK for my flock of six chickens. However, I wish I was able to use the larger ones, but they are not made properly. I will say these don’t seem to get a film on the inside and they’re pretty easy to clean. I do clean the water about once a week and I clean the chicken feed one pretty often as well.

I use this for 2 mostly-free range chicks , in their house. Zero waste.

If I could make one change, I'd put two holes for feeding, not one. Otherwise it fit perfectly within the coop, and they're really easy to clean.
