TL;DR; Clever Design; Handles large eggs; Sturdy

I got this on a whim as we collect eggs but not enough to justify this device.

The layers stack aligned to save space and then at 90 degrees to each other for egg collection. The two hangers would be used for holding stacking layers as you collect. The whole system seems compact and could be adapted to most 5 gallon upcycled buckets found on farms. The plastic I guess is filled and feels like a permanent sturdy product. I tried it out on some of our biggest eggs and I think it would probably handle duck eggs just barely. The plastic structure supports itself so the eggs are on in contact with the layer above.

The one possible concern I have is that it would be possible to put one of the racks oriented in line with the one below putting pressure on the eggs but I guess that’s all in the experience.

We have had a fair number of “Rent-a-coop” brand items and find them generally a bit expensive but also a good or very good value because of the quality. This is the same. 5 Stars.

This egg collection tray is perfect and just needs a bucket to fit in. With these you can easily collect and store lots of eggs. Putting it together is easy and quick. I have lots of eggs and this is the best solution I have found for storing outside of the fridge so far for bulk amounts.

I have enjoyed all of my Rent a Coop products and this is no exception. The quality is top notch. It’s easy to use. The pieces stack together perfectly. I appreciate that they’ve even thought through the process and created solutions. For example, what will I do with the extra trays while I fill the first/bottom one? Rent a Coop: We’ll include a tool to carry them on the side of the bucket. Brilliant!

This is great for collecting as well as storing. I am very happy with this product. I would recommend it to anyone with a henhouse, garden, homestead or farm.

These are clearly designed by a busy egg collector. They are thick and well made. Not flimsy like the square trays I had already. Super durable and easy to use. The flat sides are just big enough to fit my hand around to remove them easily.

I love the clips for the side of the bucket! They hold each tray solidly and even holds them if the bucket is bumped or dropped.

This set-up makes egg collection so much easier and I can take them from the coop to the sink for cleaning without having to worry about the eggs getting bumped around (or pecked by other hens) if I set the bucket down to fix something in route.

These RentACoop Stackable Egg Collection Trays are perfect for daily egg collecting. They are easy to store on the two metal hanging clips. I get about 15 eggs a day, so I can use these to store a week of eggs in a neat stack! I get an extra large egg and it fits in the tray.

These are made of some heavy duty-feeling plastic (maybe ABS) and feel very sturdy like a hard hat. Just get a food grade bucket and you have the ability to collect 112 eggs at a time in an organized way, for those with big flocks. It fits the different sizes of egg from our girls (mostly Buff Orpingtons, Wyandotte, Easter Eggers, New Hampshire, and Amber Star), though very large eggs might not fit properly. These racks will protect eggs from cracking very effectively provided they fit properly. They limit the footprint of egg collection to one bucket, not multiple egg baskets. This is a very useful set.

These are well made and sturdy - we stacked them in a bucket as we collected our eggs but the bucket and these trays became a bit difficult to manage. We stacked them as we collected, but it was more work to do it that way, other than just collect the eggs like we usually do and put them in our smaller pails and baskets... Sadly, not for us.

Such a neat egg tray! As chicken math seems to of course, hit us all, I have plenty of eggs. It’s nice to have a bulk option for collecting. I love that. I get to have great chickens, but I can also share eggs with my family and friends. This is such an easy tray system to use. It’s also really easy to clean. It’s just plastic so soap and water does wonders and quick. It’s brightly colored so it does stand out if you’re working outside or leave it in the yard, it’s easy to identify.

For a larger egg collecting option, this is definitely it. It couldn’t be easier and I really like that. I’m not breaking three eggs just on the way to the house because I’m trying to juggle so many in an apron anymore.

Those egg collecting aprons are cute, but just not big enough. Buckets and baskets are OK, but a bit haphazard. THIS egg collection invention is brilliant, safer for eggs, easy to organize and has a HUGE capacity to boot! Weather you sell eggs for consumption or ship valuable hatching eggs from sought after breeds/varieties, this will make collecting high quantities of eggs easy and keep everything safe and we'll organized.

Fitted with a spigot adapter to both fill and drain the 5 gallon bucket, you can stack these trays with your fresh eggs inside the bucket to make your own egg washing contraption. Add the recommended amount of egg washing powder and hook up to warm water to clean the eggs, drain, then repeat with a sanitizing solution with bleach, drain and then repeat with plain warm water to follow USDA egg sales guidelines. If you have a large a large flock and sell eating eggs, these are essential to save time and effort to clean and package your eggs.

I want to like this but I just don't. It is clearly high quality and well made and designed so for that I'm giving them a good rating but I honestly find it more cumbersome to use this than just using a cheap old egg crate. Maybe this is more for people with a large amount of chickens? I only have a half dozen birds so this can be a bit overkill for me. I really don't want to take away from the quality of the item, I think it just isn't for me.

These work great, it's super simply to use and very helpful if you're using a bucket to collect eggs. It prevented some breakage, as I collect eggs in a bucket and many times just a slight bump would cause breakages (not for the duck eggs, their shells are hard as rocks, but my chickens seem to avoid extra calcium so their shells are a bit frail). I would love to buy more of these, I wish they had a bulk pack of 10 sets, lol. These would be amazing for glassing eggs, as they protect and sturdy everything and I glass my eggs in buckets as well. Just the price point prevents me from buying more, these are basically just plastic egg trays which shouldn't cost this much.... oh well, I guess you pay for the design idea as well. I love them, want to buy more of them. Definitely recommend them!

Very attractive packaging and nifty product. Protects eggs from breakage during gathering, which piling in a bucket or basket does not. Easy to clean. Just a very functional well-thought-out product for those who have more than a handful of hens. My spouse loves them.

The packaging was attractive enough that these would make a very nice gift for the chicken lover.

Well made egg holder for 5 gallon bucket.. it is stackable inside & really help protect them. It was easy to use.

We are collecting 3 dozen eggs a day now and needed a new solution. This is great! The eggs are protected and we have room for more hen expansion if I want to.
