"Simple but effective" for chicken coops, it's durable, adjustable, and easy to install. Great for keeping the water off the ground

It took me A while to actually get out and put this thing to work… left it sitting on A shelf for A few months. Once I decided to put it up, it took me A few min to assemble it, Got it up and the girls and Roo love it. It’s so easy for them to drink out of and their water stays clean.

    Simple but effective

For the price, this hanging strap is a simple but really useful addition to a chicken setup.
Raising feeders or waterers off the ground makes a noticeable difference in reducing waste and keeping things cleaner. Once adjusted to the right height, it helps prevent scratching debris into feed/waterer and keeps things more sanitary overall.
The strap itself feels durable and holds up well with regular use. It’s easy to adjust, which is helpful as you fine-tune the height for your flock.
    What I like:
    Easy to adjust height
    Simple setup, no complicated installation
    Things to keep in mind:
You’ll need a good place to hang it from
Takes a little trial and error to get the height just right
Overall, for the cost, it’s a worthwhile upgrade if you’re trying to keep your coop or run cleaner and cut down on wasted feed.

Helps cut down on the watering time because it is hanging.

Easier to move the chicken tractor with hanging water containers.

    Easy carry handle

I use this to carry the heavy chicken water across the yard. I didn't think the plastic handle would be able to withstand the weight. Works great.

    It works

Kept having to drill new holes for the handle on my hanging 5 gallon bucket. Put this on instead and is holding strong for my chicken water I hang in the run.

    Convenient refill and cleaner water

I've been using this for about a month. My previous waterer hung and due to the weight if the water, the tub became misshapen so the lid would never stay on securely. This caused dirty water, algae, and evaporation. With this Rent a Coop design, with hanging strap that I purchased separately on Amazon, the lid stays securely in place and its easy and clean to pull out the plug, stick a hose in it and refill. The triangular cap that sits on the lid does prevent the chickens from sitting on the top as I'm seeing no evidence that they're sitting up there. I was worried that it had a smaller capacity than they largest typical plastic waterer, but I am actually refilling less. Possibly due to spillage and evaporation. My chickens took to drinking out of the little cups with no issue.

    Strong, Adjustable to different shapes,

Super strong. I used mine on a round 5 gal paint container to elevate my chickens' water high enough to protect it from their sand-scratching. My chickens & I appreciate this tool!!

    I love this item

This item has less water wastage and don't have to fill it as often. I had another waterer and I had to change the water every day due to dirt and debris getting into it. This item is a good sent. My chickens took right to it after I showed one how to use it. Like the description says. Show one and they all follow.

Needs a second strap and hooks.

I bought two of these hanging straps. I thought they were the perfect way to hang my five gallon buckets that are used to feed my chickens.
The first thing is that they don't have a clip or something to make it be able to take it off the post or branch hanging it to.
The next issue is that I found they make it difficult to balance the buckets.

It really need two straps to go over the top and a clip on one end of each.

It is better than using the bucket handles that tend to bend and stretch out from the weight of a full bucket.

    Saved me money & frustration

Oh!Thank Goodness! Was torn between continuing to set up our drinker with the complicated efforts it took to keep it at just the right height on a cinder block with another piece of wood under it and then tied around with a rope to keep it from getting knocked over (oof! Im tired just thinking about it!) , or my other option which would be to buy a new drinker with a top handle and throw this one aside.Glad they came up with this strap! It has saved me lots of money & frustration. Been set up for 1week now with no problems. Will follow up later with photos.

Awesome addition to our chicken coop!

Wish I had bought 2! This is absolutely the best chicken waterer hanger. Plan on buying another for the grit holder. Easy to hang and adjust.

    Doesn’t fit or hang right

It’s difficult to hang. When you use strap on their square waterers, the cover doesn’t stay on; the strap distorts the bucket. Might work a little better if you remove the handle from the bucket but it just doesn’t fit right or hang right. I probably will discontinue using it bc it just makes everything harder.

    Works as advertised

I purchased this strap after the plastic handle which comes with the feeder broke from hanging it in my coop. Apparently the handle is not meant to suspend the feeder permanently, just to carry it from time to time. The manufacturer kindly sent me another plastic handle free of charge and suggested I try purchasing this strap to hang the feeder.

It works as advertised and I have had no issues. You do have to spend a few seconds to realign the straps to get the feeder to hang evenly each time you take it down and rehang it, but it’s not a difficult task to accomplish.

You could certainly make your own with a few minutes and some webbing, but I opted to purchase this for my convenience. The manufacturer informed me that they have since updated product details to advise purchasers that the plastic carry handle is not intended for permanent suspension; something the product did not mention at my time of purchase.
