    Perfect sized ground rod.

Had to install a hot wire in a small enclosure. Small charger and ground rod were needed . This rod is perfect. Arrived quickly, well packaged. Came with a nice bolt and toggle nut on the end. Easy to install with the pointed end. Solid rod was easy to pound in. Hook up the ground wire to the charger and rod and we’re in business.

Perfect for any energizer set up

I bought 2 of these to go with a plug in energizer. I was on a solar powered premier one energizer that came with its own ground rod. These are significantly better which is to be expected because you are buying them separately instead of being included with a kit. I used my own wiring to connect the 2 and then to the energizer. May well be overkill but i am fully confident this combination of items will keep my chickens safe. Well worth the price.

    Grounding rod

This was just one component in a fencing system. Worked as expected.

    A must with electric netting

It’s always been interesting to me that grounding rods must be purchased separately. But at this point I am used to it with the solar fencing I use. This grounding rod is sturdy and easy to drive into the ground. My ground wasn’t very soft at the time so I did use a sledge hammer to drive it into the ground. It does a good job and helps to keep my birds safe from predators in their electric netting.

    Easy to install and works!

The Rentacoop grounding rod worked perfectly for my installation. I have two German Shepherds and a Belgian Malinois that have all managed to jump my 6’ wooden privacy fence. This has given me a way to add some needed security to keep my dogs away from the fence. The galvanized rod is heavy duty and should not rust. Super simple to install.Keeps my working dogs in the yard which gives me and my neighbors some piece of mind. Easy to attach to your system and you can add multiple grounding rods if needed.

    Convenient

This 3’ ground rod is convenient because it’s all there for you, just pound it into the ground and attach your ground wire to the terminal. Indeed it is not rocket surgery.

    Heavy duty.

This ground rod is perfect for an electric fence, but too short to use as the main panel ground. It is steel, so very sturdy and drives easily. It is galvanized, and so will resist corrosion better than a copper plated on. Works well.
