I bought these for my rentacoop water system, they fit perfect and work great for keeping my quail from walking over the water cups. Keeps their water cleaner and their litter tray dry.I would definitely recommend them.
I have to say we’re quiet please with the chicke water cup holders. We have some hoodlums chickens that climbs on everything. Since we’ve attached these covers they’re not climbing and flipping over the water cups. Great idea and hats off to whom ever created these little crafty covers.
Chickens sure are cute, but boy, they poop a lot!!!
My young hens have chosen to roost on the temporary "daytime" bars rather than the "nighttime" ones I installed for them, as they are in the run and don't have access to the "bedroom".
Their water cups were poopy every morning and cleaning them out daily (or sometimes more) was not ideal.
These covers snap right on and are made of very sturdy plastic. They have been installed for 2 days now and absolutely no filth in the water!
A couple of them sit too low, somehow impending the water from refining the cup, therefore I must give a 4 star rating.
Real easy to attach to my existing water setup (just slides on). It keeps my finches from perching and soiling in the water cup, but still gives them enough room to sneak in a bath (tiny birds!). It's solid construction and doesn't add too much weight on the cup's neck. I worried a little when I had to pull it off once that the neck would be strained, but both pieces did fine. The birds don't seem to mind the cover at all, and I personally think it adds some charm to my aviary. I attached a pic of the water setup and another of the birds I have for reference.

Sounds good in theory but not evidenced in practice. I covered half of the cups with the cover and left the other half uncovered. I didn’t notice any difference in cleanliness between the two. In that case they are a very overpriced non useful, unnecessary item. I returned them.
Didn’t work the cups aren’t the same fit but I’m sure the product would fit on the product shown feel natural
These only somewhat help to keep the cups cleaner. I ended up selling my RentaCoop waterer, it’s more way more work to keep clean than a bell waterer.
This is the best thing for your water cups for chickens. It keeps the chicks from standing on the cups and breaking them. After 8 years of dealing with water issues, I finally found my solution with these covers.
I had purchased the cups well prior to this top purchase. The two items make a great match and serve their purpose very well - keep the water clean and accessible. The tops install very easily and fit snuggly onto the cups.

Dang things work perfectly. I had the hardest time figuring out from the listing how they install so waited to order, finally just broke down and ordered them to figure out myself. They just snap onto the post, so depending on what cups you have they may or may not work... luckily with Amazon it's an easy return if they don't. My quail kept walking the edge of the wire and walking all over the cups for some reason, putting these hoods on stopped the problem.

I had a problem with feathers getting in the cups. The cover have stopped the problem.
Bought these to go with the matching cups and am super happy. They definitely keep the extra dirt out. Perfect size for the chickens head. Highly recommend and would buy again.
Great at keeping my quail out of their watering cups.
Although these covers cut down on the dirt that gets in the cups, it will also help keep them upright preventing our whole water source from draining out all over the ground. The chickens are fine with them as well.
This year I switched to watering cups for my heavy breed chickens installed on barrels to insure the chickens always have plenty of clean water, I walked into the coop to find one of the cups off with the barrel empty replaced the cup with another rent a coop cup the first weren’t theirs I couldn’t figure how the cup was broken off until I was filling the barrel and had a chicken drinking then two others horsing around jumped on her and the weight of three chickens was too much I installed these and solved several issues they help keep the cups very clean and also protect them from rambunctious chickens they also fit others cups 👍

Does not work with same brand's cups when cups are used in clip on 1/2 inch mesh configuration.
I hate being this harsh but these are useless. They do not stop any of the dust and dirt from the chicken coop from getting inside the little water trays. Also they do not afix far enough down onto the trays and when the chickens peck the tray sometimes they get stuck under the edge of these covers which holds the tray down and then the trays do not refill with water.
Good product but ended up yanking off due to being a bit cumbersome.. one more thing to clean in the coop
