These caps are easy to install and no sticky glue or special tools are needed. Just pop them onto the opening and it’s secure. I wonder how they’ll hold up through temperature changes. Time will tell!

No leaks, closes off the pipe no problem with a compression fitting. A little expensive but might be worth it for the convenience.

I ordered this 2-pack of end caps to test out with a quail watering system. The end caps are made with a high level of quality, and they simply fit onto 1/2-inch PVC pipe without the need for glue. Like most of Rent-A-Coop’s products, the couplers are black while the PVC pipe is white, but I can live with the color difference.

The quality is high and everything works well, but I don’t see the advantage over 1/2-inch PVC end caps. The PVC is a lot less expensive and can also be snapped together without glue since the system is not pressurized. Rent-A-Coop is doing a lot of good work innovating products for the DIY bird-raising community, so I appreciate their products. However, some things like PVC are going to be hard to beat in price and simplicity. All of their products work well; that’s not the problem. The issue is usually the steep price point.

The best thing about this system is the ease of setup and use! I like that I didn't need to use glue, and I can change the setup for my chickens' water system if I want.

These 2 end caps allow me to add to my water system later if need be and also allow me to remove them and flush my chickens watering system. Easy with no gluing.

I used these RentACoop end caps on a new quail cage stacked built system I recently completed. The time savings was nice versus having to deal with PVC glue. Also, these no glue fittings allow adjustment so you can accurately have all your 1/2" PVC pipes connected squarely without a lot of unnecessary torque on any fitting.

With this valve and some other components from this company, as well as a length of 1/2" PVC pipe, which I already have. I was able to construct a custom watering system for my chickens. They drink out of anything, including the ducks' pools, mud puddles, and random collections of water, but I wanted to create an easy to maintain, automatic filling source of clean water and now I have. I was able to place the water reservoir near my hose then run the watering lines to where the chickens congregate eat. Online instructions are great and assembly is straightforward and quick. The only problem I encountered was easily remedied. Because I got all the component separately, I found I was unable to buy the bucket they use in their starter kit, so I had to find another one and figure out how to mount it to the wall. Still, I highly recommend this product and this system.

These end caps require no glue and are very easy to install. These pieces are sturdy and durable as is the whole system.
