We bought the kit so I could pick the size and shape container. My girls have been using the feeder for almost three weeks. They took to it quickly with very little effort. (They are about 12 weeks old.)The kit itself was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. The food is staying dry and so far no uninvited critters. I haven't tried the watering attachments yet. I look forward to trying them soon!
Works great. Chicken have adapted to it well.
The DIY chicken feeders were really simple to put together, and the ladies took to them right away without any trouble.
Very happy with the RentACoop DIY Port Feeder system. It was very simple to install in a 5-gal bucket and is working well for both of my Pekin ducks. The biggest benefits: not having to feed at a set time each day, the food stays dry, and my dog can no longer hoard the food out of the bowl. Thank you RentACoop for a great product!
Feeders work great. I don't need to feed as often and there is no waste.
Bought the whole kit because I didn’t have the circular saw bit for the ports or the correct drill bit for the water nipples. Not disappointed at all! The sizes are perfect. This is easy to put together. This is more secure AND looks better than using PVC pipe & glue. The chickens don’t waste any feed whatsoever.
Great Product, simple to follow instructions and good quality parts. I enjoyed that this kit included everything I needed but the bucket for the install.
Fast shipping and this product works great. I also have the baby chick one with the 4 sides, 2 small and 2 larger. This is for my giant pullets (well it seems like they are giant!). The small one is a little hard for them to use. Thanks for making a great product!
